Tom gained first experience in the start-up world during his studies, working for DvH Ventures and D2C brand KOIO, sparking an ongoing passion for entrepreneurship and innovation. He continued exploring these topics in his PhD, researching the relationship between venture capital and the innovation output of biotech ventures. Prior to joining WENVEST Capital, Tom worked at Possible Ventures, an early-stage VC fund investing in software, biotechnology and web3.

When Tom is not catching up with the latest tech developments through newsletters and podcasts, he can be found exploring the Bavarian mountains on skis, a road bike, or by foot.
